In response to a growing number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Syria and refugees in Jordan related to the ongoing conflict, a client hired Nile Point to conduct an emergency food security assessment. The study used the Market Information for Food Insecurity Response Analysis (MIFIRA) tool to provide more background on the food security situation in the country to determine the most appropriate response based on household and trader surveys. The team used an online survey to conduct the study so that data could be compiled and assessed in an efficient manner to prepare the final report.
