Nile Point is conducting a desk review of the food security situation in Sierra Leone on behalf of FHI360 FANTA project for USAID Food for Peace. The report will assess the impact on food security related to the deadly Ebola outbreak in 2014-15 and recommend potential programming that may improve food security among vulnerable households. We are reviewing project documents and conducting consultations with key stakeholders in Sierra Leone and the US. The final report will glean and synthesize lessons learned from the ongoing USAID/FFP program in Bombali, Kailahun, Koinadugu and Tonkolili districts in Sierra Leone.
